EMG
EMG, or electromyography, is a procedure that measures the electrical activity of muscles and nerves. the measurement is conducted by placing electrodes on designated places of the body. the eletrical signals are picked up by the electrodes and sent to a device (an EMG sensor) that amplifies the weak signal and converts it into a readable analog signal. this signal can then be read by a microcontroller and used to control a device, such as a prosthetic finger.
